The journey begins
As previously announced, today was day 1 of my thesis and of my career as molecular biologist. I can’t say I have been slick: actually, after a year during which I’ve done anything except from molecular biology, it took me an outrageous amount of time to split and count some cells. However, today’s been incredible and I look forward to next Monday, when this start-up period will be over and I’ll begin to really work on my own, without been carefully looked after by my supervisor.
At the moment, in fact, I’m just refreshing my skills paying not too much attention to a global result, since my aim is to bring back self-confidence whenever I’ve to perform some, pretty standard, assays.
