What's your problem, Watson?
Last night, after the supper, I watched the news on TV and, my God, I couldn’t believe my ears: James Watson, the father of molecular biology, is a bloody-minded person! He doesn’t talk like a scientist. Mind you, he doesn’t talk like a decent human being, either! He is a twisted-minded racist, homophobic and firmly believes in eugenics. That’s like realising your father is a paedophile. Thing is, he is also kinda proud of his views, because he claims they are all genetically provable! My God, you spend a lot of time, convincing your socialist friends that being a molecular biologist doesn’t mean at all that you dream of genetically engineering foeti, so that parents will have their blond, pure Aryan babies and then this idiot comes up and ruins everything!
In case you didn’t hear about what this evil Nobel prize winner said a couple of days ago, as he arrived in Britain, here is a brief summary: Africans are genetically stupider than Westerners (something anyone with black slaves/employees knows perfectly well); the idea that all man are equal is a naïve communist/anarchist nonsense; Western government must bear in mind this and, therefore, immediately stop helping such a rubbish continent, having been scientifically proved, once and for all, that nothing good can come out of Africa. On a different occasion, he also kindly shared his views on black people’s penis size, when he said there is undoubtedly a link between skin colour and libido. Wanna castrate all of them? I guess that would be done for the benefit of genetically superior White race, which would be so relieved without all those sexual assaulters around the streets. Oh, and don’t forget about homosexuality, another cancer that must be eradicated from the mother’s uterus with abortion!

View the sex ratio of university beginning calculus classes on the first day and at the end of the third term. Look at reality. Each person should be evaluated as an individual. To mandate accommodation of people as groups is a short broad path to disaster. Rather than foster brilliance, we allocate for its suppression.
Being a non-native english speaker I don't have the same capabilities of spotting sarcasm in your text as you do, so I can only hope that you weren't serious. I think what is wrong is that when a scientist (or anyone) make these kind of claims, it is often confronted with politically correct bullshit and hysterical counter reactions. If mr. Watson is completely wrong, then I guess it would be easy to show with science. If there aren't differences in intelligence between blacks and whites, I suppose one would have statistics to show it. However, instead we have many statistics that show opposite.
Not to mention that it is completely politically correct to say that, for example, japanese are more intelligent than europeans. And that africans defeat europeans in marathon etc. for genetic reasons!
Please, define "intelligence".
Yeah, I know, we can define "intelligence" in a way that africans outperform europeans, too, but we don't usually do so. In western countries we respect the characteristics which give rise to science, technological development, economical growth and so on. I believe these are a result of the mathematical components of "intelligence".
While I agree with most of your general premise, don't you think that all of Watson's transgressions nonetheless don't take his discovery of the DNA structure away from him?
And it's also why he didn't win the Nobel Peace Prize...
Anyway the problem stay once again the same : ethic. Is it right to use science to compare 'intelligence' ? And what will you do with 'the result' of this investigation ?
I think Watson was quite clear that he wanted to use the truth about race and IQ to *help* African people through genetic engineering. Hmmm, doesn't sound like "hate" to me. Sounds like compassion.
Watson was optimistic that we could uncover the genetic basis of higher intelligence and give it to Africans. What a horrible, horrible little man!
Here is a man, who is obviously in the onset of dementia and people with dementia will often speak their true beliefs. I only have one question for Mr. Watson. If Stupidity is a disease that needs to be treated and if whites are considered so superior - EXPLAIN GEORGE BUSH AND WHEN DOES HIS TREATMENTS BEGIN?
The thing is, Gerri, George Bush, as stupid as he is, is probably smarter than the average black African person.
Dr. Watson is right, I'm afraid to say. We just need to see the failure of blacks worldwide to reach the same conclusion and we don't need to be scientists to do so. An I'm sorry, Condi Rice and Obama are just exceptions, and exceptions don't brake rules. Blacks fail not only in the USA, they fail in Canada, they fail in Europe, they fail in Latin America, they even fail in their own native countries.
But I don't expect you to accept this. I expect you to call me an ignorant nazi, is to be expected after years of force brain washing.
